School Time!

School has begun again for Janelle & Madeline. It promises to be an action-packed year

studying Biology & Early American History.

Here they are constructing a model of the triangular Jamestown Fort which was surrounded

by water on three sides.

Now they are safe inside their fort.....preparing to starve to death if it weren't for the bounty

of food supplies Pocahontas regularly brought to the fort.

We enjoyed our own feast of foods Pocahontas might have brought...corn, squash, nuts, etc.

The next day we took a Science field trip to a dentist office.

(Studying the 5 senses, focusing on taste, teeth & the tongue).

The girlies had casts made of their teeth...

Follwed by lots of education about the teeth and mapping out tasting areas on their tongues.
