In the public schools, bullying has become a real problem.
Papers are sent home on a
regular basis with phrases such as,
"There will be no tolerance of bullying on the playground."
or
"Absolutely no bullying allowed."
At the Shumway homeschool, we have our own "bullying" issues to deal with.
However, our bullying issues carry a lot more weight!
Madeline looked out the window yesterday and hollered,
"Mom! The Bull is on the baseball field!"
"Mom! The Bull is on the baseball field!"
Thus began a 30 minute adventure to expunge our playground of the threat of real-life bullying!
So if your children happen to be experiencing "bullying" at their schools, be grateful their bullies weigh 100 lbs instead of 1800 lbs!

ReplyDeleteBoy am I glad we don't have bullies like that at my kids school. Imagine the pile of problems they leave in their wake!
Oh how I wish this is what Jayden's bully was. I actually need to call you! We're taking him out of public school, because my heart just can't take what that sweet boy has been going through. SO ~ the Garibays are the newest homeschool family!!
